Pura Mente Jewelry was founded by Rebecca Penarroya and Scott Blanchette in 2013
to raise awareness for dementia.
Rebecca's mother was diagnosed with Dementia in 2011, and passed away in October 2013. Since 2011, Rebecca has devoted much of her free time to raise awareness for Dementia, and thru that Pura Mente Jewelry was born.
"Pura Mente" means "Pure Mind" in Spanish. The Pura Mente bracelets are made in the USA on the East Coast, with 100% of the proceeds of each bracelet sold, and a matching 25% by Rebecca, going toward finding a cure for Dementia.
